Caving in Mawsmai

Meghalaya has some of the longest and deepest caves in South Asia. Mawsmai Cave is the most accessible. It is a limestone cave with impressive stalactites and stalagmites.

Squeezing through narrow majestic chambers and seeing the fossils in the rock walls is thrilling. It is a dark, cool underworld.
