Kangla Fort Walk

The ancient capital of the Manipuri kings, Kangla Fort is the spiritual and political heart of the state. It is a massive complex with moats, temples, and citadels.

The huge Sha (dragon) statues at the entrance are iconic. Walking here is a lesson in the history of the Meitei people.
